CUFF 2024 Festival Wrap

Thank you to everyone who attended the 21st Calgary Underground Film Festival from April 18-28, 2024! 

Both the highest attended and highest grossing festival in CUFF's 21-year history, attendance was up by 35%, with a record 11,500 coming out to watch films. With 70+ guests in attendance, this year we welcomed a record number of filmmakers and industry professionals, which all adds to the overall experience for the audience, including post-screening Q&As, industry events, and panel discussions.

We couldn't do this festival without the support of our audience, sponsors, our incredibly dedicated team of staff and seasonal support staff, and all the amazing volunteers. Thanks for making the 21st Calgary Underground Film Festival the best one yet.

The 22nd Calgary Underground Film Festival will take place from April 17-27, 2025. 

At CUFF, the fun doesn't end in April. We operate year-round screenings and our annual documentary festival, CUFF.Docs, which will take place from November 20-24 at Globe Cinema.
